Texas v. R.M.  – Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and DWI Pled to Obstruction of a Highway (Dec. 2022)

Client was pulled over for swerving and not signaling, given field sobriety tests, and was arrested for DWI. Officers searched his vehicle and found a Delta 8/9 Vape Pen. Client was then charged with DWI (with a BAC of .139) and Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Sellers Law Firm negotiated a dismissal of the Felony, as well as a plea for Obstruction of a Highway, with a dismissal of the DWI. Client will be eligible to expunge the records of the felony and DWI, and seal the record for obstruction.
