Assault on an Elderly Person – Texas v. D.R. (Dec. 2022)

In December of 2022, a Houston resident was celebrating Christmas with her family. An argument ensued amongst family members, fueled by alcohol. The argument spilled out onto the front yard, and a confrontation between our client and her mother became physical. A neighbor called the police and our client was charged with Injury to an Elderly Person, a third degree felony in Texas. Sellers Law Firm was able to negotiate a total dismissal of the case, allowing our client to walk away without a felony or any other conviction. She will also be eligible to expunge all records of the charge.
