McCall Hoops

McCall Hoops is a trial lawyer who focuses on defending people charged with serious crimes in both state and federal court. She also contributes to the firm’s civil trial practice, assisting in high-stakes personal injury, wrongful death, and complex civil litigation matters. Whether working on a federal indictment or helping build a civil case for trial, McCall is known for her precision, preparation, and courtroom presence.

Before joining Sellers Law Firm, McCall earned her law degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, graduating cum laude and making the Dean’s List every semester. During law school, she interned at the Federal Defender’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois, where she worked on federal drug trafficking and firearms offenses. She also worked with the Illinois Prison Project, advocating for incarcerated individuals in clemency and medical release petitions. McCall developed a strong foundation in criminal law through her clinical and editorial work, including her role as an Articles Editor for the Journal of Criminal Law & Criminology.

McCall is originally from Boulder, Colorado. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas Christian University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and minors in Business and Sociology. After college, McCall worked at Sellers Law Firm before attending law school—and we were proud to bring her back.
